So I decided that I needed a solved picture for this Journet Puzzle. Originally the puzzle had mercury in it,and there a signs of this inside the puzzle (small silver residues). So I had to solve without the aid of the mercury to push the pieces around. Lots of gentle taps on the back, whilst using my other hand to dampen the vibration on pieces I did not want to move. Eventually solved the puzzle and it is a small dutch girl. I understand there were other pictures, so now I guess I need to track those down. On a slightly different note, does anyone have any tips on cleaning these puzzles, the glass is fairly easy to clean, but the outside is very grubby and I want to clean without damaging the puzzle.
